FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What makes working with Arukah unique?: Working with a holistic health practitioner provides the personalization, customization, and “deep-dive” time that is difficult to get in the typical healthcare setting. In this setting, we’ll work together as a team to take back your health. Through the unique Arukah process, a comprehensive intake and reassessments, functional and energetic labs, nutritional counseling, and a bio-individual approach to each case, we can follow a clear roadmap of healing that is unique to YOU.

Are consults in-person or virtual?: If you live locally, I prefer to complete our first appointment in-person at my home office. All follow-up appointments can be completed in-person or via Zoom.

What is your health and educational background?: I’ve always had an interest in, and my foot through the metaphoric door of health and wellness. Before becoming an NTP, I had a 10+-year-career as an Occupational Therapy Assistant, primarily in pediatrics. I simultaneously was gaining personal experience in root-cause healing through research and my own children’s health issues. I walked them through the healing process for eczema and food allergies, as well as myself through healing various digestive complaints, post-COVID issues, Lyme, and issues related to significant mold exposure. Since deciding to change careers, I have completed a 10-month program with the Nutritional Therapy Association, as well as Level 1 training with Restorative Wellness Solutions in digestive healing and GI-MAP lab review. I am also certified through MBCE to request orders and review blood work. I am trained in review of HTMA testing, and have also completed an extensive 8-month certification in bioenergetic testing and energy medicine. I now have 3+ years of experience working with 1:1 clients, and 2 years experience in running bioenergetic testing in-house with the QEST4 machine.

What results can I expect?: I always strive to ensure my clients feel supported, encouraged, and hopeful as we walk this path together; remember, it’s a marathon, not a sprint. Healing is multi-faceted and a layered process. But I’ll be with you every step of the way. Through The Arukah Way, you can expect that I will dedicate my time and efforts to finding root-cause answers, and if I cannot, I will refer you out accordingly so you can have the best support possible in your healing journey. You can expect to learn how to listen to your body, read its cues, and learn just how powerful your body is as it truly desires to heal from the inside out. The Arukah Way approaches health and healing from a food-first, lifestyle change approach. It’s not solely relying on supplements for the rest of your life. Instead, you’ll gain the tools and knowledge to continue to support your health and make the best decisions when you are no longer working with me.

Do you take insurance? Can I use HSA/FSA for your services?: Unfortunately, I am unable to take insurance, but I do offer payment plans. It is possible to utilize your HSA/FSA. Please discuss this with me during our Enrollment Call.
